- I've been recognized as a business superstar, but I don't have explicit experience for job openings on your site. Should I still apply? Answer >
-
We have a thorough hiring process and are extremely selective when it comes to new employees. But if you're a top performer, we want to meet you. At Red Ventures, your ability to add value and deliver results is what really matters. We're so passionate about finding the right people, that we've even created positions for top talent when one didn't already exist. And we care just as much about making sure people are a cultural fit. Applicants meet with many Red Ventures employees during the interview process so we can mutually determine if they'll be a good fit for our team. If you apply for one position and really impress us, we may decide you're a fit for an entirely different spot in the company. Top Performers: Apply Here
- I have a great job. Why should I consider working at Red Ventures?Answer >
-
At Red Ventures, employees are rewarded for behaving like entrepreneurs, they enjoy what they do and they get profound growth opportunities. For the right people, it's the absolute Best Place to Work. Feedback from our employees even earned us the #1 spot on the Charlotte Business Journal's Best Places to Work list. You may have noticed employee quotes on our website where we're referred to as a “career catapult,” and that's really what you can expect when you work here.
We give people at every level the responsibility, the resources and the authority they need to succeed. We're in a relentless pursuit of top talent, and as a result, the people here are constantly surrounded and challenged by other high achievers. Plus, we reward employees based on results they generate for us rather than factors like tenure and the stats on their resume.
- What kind of people typically succeed at Red Ventures?Answer >
-
We want people who are goal-oriented, aware of their own strengths and weaknesses and who thrive in a data-driven environment. We also want people who behave entrepreneurially without having to be entrepreneurs. If you like structure and want to know that you'll be in the same role or on the same team for the next three years, Red Ventures probably isn't the place for you. We're constantly evolving and expect the same flexibility from our employees. If you have endless energy, passion and a desire to laugh and have fun, you'll fit in exceptionally well here.
- How does Red Ventures stack up when it comes to rewarding employees?Answer >
-
Red Ventures is paid for the value we create and so are our top performers. People are given every opportunity to be a star – and those who are – are rewarded well. But rewards come in many forms at Red Ventures, and they go well beyond compensation. Growth opportunities are endless and employees are encouraged and expected to drive their own career path. The absolute best at Red Ventures are even invited to participate on an ownership level. There's also the outstanding work environment, generous benefits, frequent happy hours and company trips. In April, we'll move into our new 90,000 sq. foot headquarters, equipped with a full-sized basketball court, running track, gym, lockers rooms, a Café/Bistro and a wide array of state-of-the-art technology.
- As Red Ventures grows, how do you maintain your unique culture?Answer >
-
When we hire someone, we involve people from all levels of the company in the interview process. It helps us determine if they'll be a cultural fit and we believe there's a real benefit to getting a collective opinion on each candidate. Our hiring process allows the culture to self perpetuate.
Additionally, our employees feel very comfortable being themselves at work. We think that's what helps drive the essence of the culture, because it's something we can't fake. Our culture isn't something we create – it simply comes down to finding the right people and being ourselves every day.
- I've heard your office looks more like a trading floor than a marketing company. Is that true?Answer >
-
While we may look like a trading floor, we actually think our office is what every marketing company should look like. It gives visitors a snapshot into the future of the marketing world. Our headquarters is filled with hundreds of flat-screen monitors tracking up-to-the-minute results for all of our businesses. Every morsel of information that we track and analyze improves our business. Opinions matter far less than data and the technology we use is a reflection of the speed at which we work. Our technology gives us the depth of information we need in order to make real-time, intelligent decisions. And quite honestly, we can't imagine how a marketing company could possibly succeed any other way.
- I've heard the company rewards its employees in some pretty unique ways. What's that all about?Answer >
-
When Ric and Dan founded Red Ventures more than a decade ago, one of their core principles was to create the kind of place where they would want to work. And they've done just that. Employees have fun. They challenge themselves and others, and people who perform are rewarded well. Corporate employees go on annual all-expenses paid trips to tropical locations like Puerto Rico and Aruba. The trips are a time for annual meetings, team bonding, celebration and relaxation. In our sales center, top performing agents are rewarded with trips to the Caribbean. It keeps employees motivated, competitive and enthusiastic about doing their best. And despite the idyllic setting of all the tropical excursions, a tremendous amount of team building and business development occurs – it just may happen on the beach.
