Why did you join Red Ventures?
My ideal work environment was where I could grow and make a major impact. When I interviewed with Red Ventures, I met with highly motivated, energetic, entrepreneurial people that I could easily see myself working with. Red Ventures has a small company culture and feel and I knew instantly that this was the environment for me!
Why do you like working at Red Ventures?
When I met with Dan during my interviews, I mentioned to him that growth was an important career objective of mine. Red Ventures has provided me excellent opportunities to grow both professionally and personally in my short time here. I have the ability here to make a major impact and my work contributes directly to the success of the organization. Of course you can't complain about the dynamic, fast-paced and exciting environment either!
What is the most interesting project you have worked on to date at Red Ventures?
While at Red Ventures, I got an opportunity to lead the technological development of our Radio Sales Group unit. By being a part of the team, I got to learn the business and technology processes involved in setting up a new venture. Our team made major inroads to figuring out how to penetrate the satellite radio market. From a technology perspective, this involved setting up the backbone for an e-commerce site and provided all the tools needed to manage our suite of products, which was an exciting and challenging project.
What part of your personal development while at Red Ventures are you most proud of?
What I have learned in a small amount of time is stunning to me. Being around marketing managers has provided me an incredible perspective from the marketing side of things. I have been given the opportunity to have an impact on three business units, and the learning that I have gained in the field of business and technology has been invaluable to me.
When is the last time you laughed out loud - really laughed - here at the office?
Red Ventures really has a fun-loving culture. I laugh all the time, and sitting between Dale and Peter, it's definitely going to be a blast!
