Why did you join Red Ventures?
During the interview process, everyone that I met was intelligent, passionate and genuinely excited about their roles. When I got home that night, I told my wife that I knew I had to be part of that kind of team.

Why do you like working at Red Ventures?
Red Ventures is all the things a billion dollar publicly owned company is not. Red is a fun, dynamic work experience - constantly evolving and morphing into something new and challenging. I like the fact that I don't look up at the clock and hope that 6 o'clock will come more quickly. Time doesn't stand still at Red and standing still at Red is tantamount to moving backwards. I love the fact that we move on opportunities at an aggressive pace that's not possible in a big corporation. Every now and then my wife Gene' will bring our kids, Jacob and Reagan, up to work to visit. When the kids show up, everyone stops what they are doing to say hi. For most of the day Red is moving at the speed of light, but we always have time to stop, slow down, and appreciate the most important things in life – each other.

I also enjoy being part of a collaborative endeavor, where I'm not hindered by conventional departmental boundaries and organizational bureaucracy. I enjoy working hard because I truly feel my work is valued by the team and that it directly contributes to the success and growth of the organization.

What is the most interesting project you have worked on to date at Red Ventures?
I was recently asked by Ric to create a world-class training department that will serve our Sales Agents and Supervisory staff. I have a real passion for development and it's exciting to be heading up a department dedicated to the growth of our team. This new department is a testament to our unwavering commitment to find, retain and cultivate Grade-A talent!

What part of your personal development while at Red Ventures are you most proud of?
I've had the opportunity to expand my experience outside of my established skill-sets as I've been part of numerous start-ups. Each one has taught me something new about launching new businesses, how to market more effectively, and how to identify new opportunities in the marketplace. All of my experiences have helped me to shape an entrepreneurial mindset that is essential for success at Red Ventures.
