What did you Study? Elementary Education - Undergraduate Operations & Finance - Graduate

What did you do prior to joining Red Ventures? I started my career as a consultant and one of the Big 4 consulting firms, then I went back to business school. After business school, I worked for a national auto insuance company in operations and product management. After I had my first daughter, I left corporate America and started a franchised tutoring business. One year later my husband and I moved to South Charlotte for my his job and I started at Red Ventures. Red Ventures is the perfect balance for me. It provides the resources and collegiality of a large company with the entrepreneurial environment of a small business.

What do you remember most about your interview process? I was amazed with was how fast the interview process was. Within a week of submitting my resume online, I was in the office for my first round of interviews. Rounds two and three happened the next week, and I had an offer within a month of submitting my resume. I had already started working at Red Ventures when I started to hear back from the other companies I applied to. I think the interview process in indicative of the way the entire company works. Things that take 6 months in other companies are done in 6 hours here.

What is the best part about working at Red Ventures? The people that I work with. Everyone here is smart, driven, and fun! I have learned more at Red Ventures than I did in business school or any of my previous positions, and I had fun doing it.

Finish this sentence: Red Ventures is...? a great place to work. I look forward to coming to work every day.

When is the last time you laughed out loud at work? At last week's communication meeting one employee threw a pie in the face of her boss because of a lost bet. Before working at Red Ventures, I had never seen a pie thrown in someone's face at work, and in the last year I have seen it at least 5 times. The amazing thing is that it doesn't get old...it is funny every time!
