Why did you join Red Ventures?
I joined Red Ventures because I wanted to join a company that placed the people first. The organizational culture and the emphasis placed upon recruiting and selecting bright passionate employees is part of the organization's DNA. I was looking for a growing entrepreneurial company where the leadership was as focused on talent acquisition and development as they were on customer acquisition.

Why do you like working at Red Ventures?
Red Ventures truly is the best place for the best people. We have a work hard, play hard mentality. Individuals are challenged to be creative and to stretch themselves on a daily basis. The office environment is quite unique, and I get to be involved in so many aspects of our business. I feel honored to be a part of such a great team and to have the opportunity to help the organization to grow through acquiring great people.

What is the most interesting project you have worked on to date at Red Ventures?
I headed up a project to run a Red Ventures Career Open House to boost our brand recognition in the Charlotte area and to identify exceptional candidates to join our team. With the scheduled Open House date less than a month away, we quickly assembled a cross-functional team of employees to market and execute this event. We were able to show off our unique company to potential candidates, which allowed candidates to see much more than a typical job posting allows. The event resulted in us identifying some excellent candidates for our numerous open positions.

What part of your personal development while at Red Ventures are you most proud of?
Learning never to bet with Ric. Apparently he has never lost a bet to another employee.

When is the last time you laughed out loud - really laughed - here at the office?
About five minutes ago. We were joking about potential names for our conference rooms and it was mentioned that we should name our interviewing rooms Barbara Walters and Larry King.
