Inspired BlogHispanic Heritage Month

Each year, Americans observe National Hispanic Heritage Month from September 15th through October 15th. During this time, they celebrate the histories, cultures, and contributions of American citizens whose ancestors came from Spain, Mexico, the Caribbean and Central and South America. Hispanic Heritage Month was initially observed in 1968 as Hispanic Heritage Week, later expanding to a 30 day period in 1988. September 15th is significant because it is the anniversary of independence for Latin American countries. Watch the video below to hear from a few RVers who celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with their cultural traditions.
