At a Glance

As a Fraud Operations Manager at Red Ventures, you will develop and implement comprehensive fraud detection strategies and business rules that balance fraud loss, cost of execution, and customer experience. You will lead root cause analysis to identify opportunities to predict, prevent and mitigate risk within processes and performance.

What You’ll Do

  • Responsible for implementing and maintaining the tools, systems and workflows to identify when fraud occurs and quickly remedy its impact
  • Research and select new software or hardware to help develop safety procedures to ensure minimal risk of fraud based on industry best practices
  • Perform analysis on large amounts of data and utilize findings to drive decision making around new Fraud rules and tools
  • Provide input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility and developing the budget
  • Lead all investigations of suspect fraud attacks, to understand the fraud MO, and propose the appropriate immediate actions to find the long term permanent fix 
  • Resolve escalated issues arising from standard operations and coordinate with other internal departments to react and find a long term resolution
  • Support a collaborative, performance-driven culture that builds bridges with other functional groups across the enterprise and maintains positive working relationships
  • Develop operational fraud reporting and insights
  • Works with partners to close opportunities for fraud

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills specifically with experience in managing fraud and abuse cases
  • Experience with anti-fraud tools to prevent multiple levels of fraudulent behavior
  • Experience with Microsoft suite 
  • Excellent knowledge of fraud detection, prevention and industry standard best practices 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially translating between business and technical terminology.
  • Ability to operate in a high-energy, high intensity and rapidly evolving environment
