We’re looking for experts in paid search, search engine marketing (SEM), and app store search marketing to join our team as a Strategic Paid Search Analyst.

At Red Ventures, Paid Search Analysts are responsible for optimizing, implementing, and analyzing paid search and app campaigns for our clients and driving digital performance. In this role, you’ll need to think strategically and act tactically. It is a highly visible role (internally across our marketing and product leadership teams), where you’ll be charged with identifying opportunities to drive revenue, and instilling data-driven best practices across the company. If you like data, marketing, and analytics, you’ve come to the right place.

As a Paid Search Analyst in this role, you’ll be working on our Product Marketing team for The Points Guy across various TPG products including the app, newsletter, and other current and future developments. While this role is in-house, agency experience is also welcomed. Our Paid Search roles offer the full funnel ownership, impact, and stability of in-house, with the high risk/high reward environment and experienced teammates to learn from that you see in agency roles.

What You’ll Do

  • Create, execute, and optimize innovative paid search campaigns and other digital marketing strategies for The Points Guy brand
  • Manage day-to-day execution and analysis of paid search and app campaigns across Google Ads & Apple Search Ads platforms, while identifying and testing opportunities for account growth and optimization
  • Learn from some of the best and brightest paid search thought-leaders in the industry
  • Work hand-in-hand with our incredible in-house team, including the engineers building our proprietary technology and our web designers and developers working on our websites, creative assets, and customer/user experience

Who We’re Looking For

  • 1-2+ years of experience with a proven track record of success in meeting performance goals in paid search and/or digital marketing campaigns
  • Data lovers and analytically-minded people with a passion for online marketing/search engine marketing
  • Experience in Google Ads (AdWords)
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills and intermediate/advanced Excel skills; you already know vlookup, pivot tables, concatenating, text to columns, and love working with numbers
  • Comfortable with topics such as budgeting, bidding, and testing methodology
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Additional things that will impress us:

  • Experience in Apple Search Ads and/or Google App Campaigns a large plus
  • Experience in paid social platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, TikTok, etc.), app marketing, or programmatic (DSP media buying) also a plus
  • Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, SQL, Tableau, and other analytic platforms experience a plus
