We have an opportunity for a skilled lawyer to join a fun, dynamic and collaborative legal team. Experience in the consumer-facing digital health space or healthcare technology industry is a plus.  In this role you will be a key member of our legal team devoted to supporting our procurement and vendor contracting as well as supporting our overall commercial business and strategic alliances across all business lines.    

What You’ll Do

  • Serve as in-house counsel to an expanding comprehensive consumer healthcare platform that meets people where they are in their personal journeys and connects them with both the information and the care they need.
  • Establish RV Health’s procurement intake and contract review function.  You will onboard us to a contract management system, author playbooks for contract review, and oversee management of vendor risk.   
  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including Master Services Agreements, advertising technology contracts, data agreements, and software and technology licenses. 
  • Advise your business clients and legal colleagues on US healthcare regulatory laws, regulations, and enforcement activities, and apply your knowledge of these laws to provide actionable advice to senior management and product leadership.
  • Work with the business teams to create templates and guidelines to allow teams to independently address common commercial needs. 

What We Are Looking For

  • The RV Health is building out a legal team comprised of lawyers who excel at collaboration, possess an exceptional ability to distill complex areas of the law into advice that is digestible and actionable by our business clients, and who are solution oriented and focused on facilitating business objectives.  You must be egoless, value collaboration, and be ready to put in the hard work to accomplish whatever the job demands. 
  • Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and member of the bar of a U.S. jurisdiction
  • 7+ years of legal experience; ideally at least 2 years of in-house experience in the consumer-facing digital health space or healthcare technology. 
  • Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and navigate amid uncertainty with a can-do, problem-solving attitude is a must! We are not the legal team of “no” or ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - instead we are equal parts risk identifiers and problem solvers. And if you can liven up your legal advice with some humor, that is a plus (and always encouraged).

Pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay Act, below is a summary of compensation elements for this role at the company if based in Colorado. The following benefits are provided by Red Ventures, subject to eligibility requirements.

  • Starting Salary: $175,000 - $200,000 *Note actual salary is based on geographic location, qualifications and experience
