Contracts Administrator
South Charlotte

MyMove, LLC, a Red Ventures company, partners with the U.S. Postal Service to help advertisers reach the approximately 22 million U.S. households that move each year.  We are currently exploring multiple additional business lines in the digital marketing space.

We are currently looking for a Contracts Administrator who will work with the Legal Affairs Manager to assist with navigating the full scope of contract management and administration for MyMove by preparing, evaluating, drafting, reviewing, negotiating and closing commercial contracts.  This individual will assist in managing contractual relationships with clients and serve as liaison with the internal business teams. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Work closely with internal business and sales teams to draft, review, edit, analyze, negotiate and administer terms and conditions for agreements with clients, vendors, and consultants
  • Manage and guide the contract process between legal, internal business units, sales department and external clients
  • Process contract renewals and/or amendments on an as-needed basis
  • Provide advice and strategic guidance on contractual issues to internal business units
  • Maintain contract database and assist with transition to electronic filing system
  • Assume responsibility for deal sheet/contract tracking report updates
  • Ensure final contracts are consistent with negotiated agreements
  • Ensure timely execution of contracts
  • Prepare contractual correspondences to clients
  • Participate in high-level contracts and negotiations
  • Serve as resident expert on key details of client relationships
  • Effectively manage annual bid solicitation process from beginning to end

 Required and Preferred Skills:

  • 2 to 4 years contract management experience
  • Experience in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts required
  • Strong skills with using Microsoft applications required
  • A Bachelors degree preferred

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated ability to independently negotiate terms and conditions of contracts
  • Confidence and capability to work under minimal supervision
  • Ability to fully understand, interpret and evaluate contractual language and its impact
  • Handle and close a substantial volume of revenue contracts with short turnaround time
  • Ability to effectively shift priorities and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal and relationship skills
  • Excellent business writing, spelling, grammar, and proofreading abilities

You will work with our business teams to ensure that we remain in adherence to legal standards and in-house policies as it pertains to a variety of transactional agreements and general compliance matters.

Our Corporate Counsel works closely with our business teams to push the needle forward as a partner in the deal. We are looking for someone who is well-versed in contracts and corporate governance best practices, someone who can advise and guide teams to the best decision. You should be someone who enjoys staying abreast of changing industry standards, particularly in digital marketing and technology. You should be a professional of high ethical standards and work diligently to complete your duties while keeping the objectives of the business in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Be an integral part of the business teams’ efforts to establish and evaluate existing and potential business relationships, with significant responsibilities for negotiating, preparing, and reviewing partner contracts.
  • Provide management team with day-to-day legal perspective and guidance, as well as risk assessment and mitigation.
  • Serve as legal advisor and active participant in establishing partnerships and facilitating merger, acquisition and divestiture transactions, including due diligence, negotiation and preparation of term sheets and definitive agreements, and assistance with financing documentation and closing process.
  • Assist with a variety of corporate matters including organizational documents, company structure, and management of corporate entities.
  • Assist with management of intellectual property portfolio.
  • Work closely with General Counsel on risk assessment and on compliance-related processes and procedures to support the company’s compliance environment and ever-present focus on quality.
  • Address employment related legal issues in conjunction with Human Resources department, including EEOC and worker’s compensation claims.
  • Coordinate with outside counsel on litigation and specialized issues as required.

 Candidate Profile

  • 5-8 years of experience working with senior business management in connection with a broad range of legal matters including contracts, intellectual property, marketing, compliance, employment, privacy, M&A, and other transactional activities.  Prior in-house experience a plus.
  • Outstanding negotiating, communication, drafting, and writing skills.
  • Possess a high degree of business savvy, integrity, candor, intellectual curiosity, and self-motivation.
  • Strategic thinking and innovative, creative problem-solving, often in unprecedented cutting-edge scenarios.
  • Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills, with a well-developed sense of humor, fun and adventure.
  • Previous experience operating effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

HR Coordinator (North Charlotte)

General Summary:

As an HR Coordinator, you will support the HR Generalist team in the North Charlotte office with front-line HR support. This role is hands-on and will often act as the first point of contact in our Sales Center, primarily consisting of Sales Consultants and Sales Leaders. While you’ll be a results-driving expert, solving dozens of routine employee questions daily (or hourly!), you will have exposure to many aspects of Human Resources including Orientation and Onboarding, Benefits, Payroll, HRIS, Employee Relations, Leave of Absence and Performance Management.

 Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Provide wide-ranging HR support as a member of the North Charlotte HR team to Sales Center employees, enhancing the employee experience and aiding with HR effectiveness.
  • Lead the Onboarding process, including facilitation of New Hire Orientation and receipt and submission of I9 documentation
  • Educate employees on company benefits, solve first-tier benefits questions, and assist in benefits administration (new hire, qualifying event, open enrollment)
  • Educate employees on company payroll practices and solve questions related to first-tier payroll administration matters (timesheets, tax documents, etc.); serve as the liaison between employees and the payroll department to troubleshoot more complex situations
  • Assist HR Generalists with leave of absence administration including educating employees on leave of absence guidelines and providing correct documentation
  • Generate documentation related to employee actions and complete processes in HRIS system (promotions, transfers, etc.)
  • Create general employee data reports (headcount, attrition, etc.)
  • Conduct Exit Interviews and review pertinent payroll and benefits information
  • Other duties as assigned

 What We’re Looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field or combination equivalent work experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of overall work experience, or prior internship experience, preferably in Human Resources
  • Previous exposure to HRIS system (WORKDAY experience preferred)
  • Communication Skills: Actively listens, skillfully positions issues and demonstrates empathy, acts as a company culture ambassador, possesses and shows a high degree of authenticity
  • Customer Focus: Understands what it takes for individuals and teams to succeed, behavior aligns with company culture tenants, and drives engagement with teams
