Data Privacy Framework Notice
Red Ventures complies with the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (collectively, the “DPF”) as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data transferred from the European Union and United Kingdom, as applicable, to the United States in reliance on the DPF. Red Ventures has certified to the Department of Commerce that it adheres to the DPF Principles with respect to such data. If there is a conflict between the terms in this notice and the Data Privacy Framework Principles, the DPF Principles shall prevail.
In compliance with the DPF, Red Ventures commits to resolve DPF Principles-related complaints about our collection and use of your personal data. EU and UK individuals with inquiries or complaints regarding our handling of personal data received in reliance on the DPF should first contact Red Ventures at privacy@redventures.com with the subject “Data Privacy Framework”. In compliance with the Data Privacy Framework, Red Ventures commits to refer unresolved complaints concerning our handling of personal data received in reliance on the DPF to JAMS, an alternative dispute resolution provider based in the United States. If you do not receive timely acknowledgment of your DPF Principles-related complaint from us, or if we have not addressed your DPF Principles-related complaint to your satisfaction, please visit www.jamsadr.com/eu-us-data-privacy-framework for more information or to file a complaint. The services of JAMS are provided at no cost to you. If neither Red Ventures nor our dispute resolution provider resolves your complaint, you may have the possibility, under certain conditions, to invoke binding arbitration through the DPF Panel.
Red Ventures is responsible for personal data that we receive under the DPF and, if we transfer your personal data onward to a third party, we will continue to remain liable under the DPF Principles if the information is processed in a manner inconsistent with the DPF Principles. Please be aware that we may be required to disclose personal data that we receive under the DPF in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. The Federal Trade Commission has jurisdiction over Red Ventures’ compliance with the DPF. To learn more about the DPF program, and to view our certification, please visit the U.S. Department of Commerce’s website here.
