Three building complex in Lancaster County, S.C. will double existing square footage and increase capacity to 4,500 employees
Charlotte, N.C. – Red Ventures, a leading digital consumer choice platform, broke ground today on RV4, a $90MM investment and the fourth structure at its Indian Land, S.C.headquarters. The 300,000-square-foot structure will be comprised of three buildings – a sales center, 6-story office tower and a learning & development center – as well as two parking structures. Once complete, RV4 will have capacity for 1,500 new employees, which the company plans to hire over the next five to seven years.
“Attracting and retaining the best talent requires a purposeful – and continued – focus on creating an environment that celebrates collaboration, creativity and continued learning,” said CEO Ric Elias. “This campus expansion and the amenities included, specifically the learning and development center, position us well to compete for and retain the best talent.”
The learning & development center will anchor the complex, and will include a 275-seat auditorium with state of the art AV capabilities, multiple training rooms and a multi-use ballroom with seating for 650 people. The new structure will further enhance Red Ventures’ existing on-site amenities, and will include an outdoor amphitheater, additional fitness facilities and cafes, and a jogging trail. Additionally, South Carolina Highway 160 will be expanded to become the main entrance to the Red Ventures campus.
“We’ve always known that the partnership between the state of South Carolina and Red Ventures was something special, and this new $90 million investment shows what can happen when you combine a growing, innovative company with the business-friendly environment we have created here,” said S.C. Governor Nikki Haley, who attended the groundbreaking event. “The 1,500 new jobs this fantastic company is creating in Lancaster County proves its commitment to the people of South Carolina, and we couldn’t be more excited to celebrate today.”
Red Ventures continued growth can be attributed to the company’s unique business model, advanced analytics and proprietary technology. By owning the entire marketing funnel – from demand generation to closing the sale – for some of the nation’s top brands, Red Ventures is able to seamlessly connect customers with the products and services they need most. The company has grown by more than 30 percent per year for the past three years and is on pace to exceed that growth in 2015.
RV4 will come online in phases with the sales center and parking decks expected to be completed in Q4 2016. The 6-story tower and L&D center will be completed by June 2017. When the expansion is complete, the Red Venture campus will total 630,000 square feet.
Red Ventures is also a significant investor in the new TownPlace Suites by Marriott hotel being built adjacent to the campus. Designed by Overcash Demmitt Architect and developed by OHM Hotels, the property is the first major name brand hotel in Lancaster County.
In addition to itsIndian Land, S.C. headquarters, Red Ventures has offices in Charlotte, N.C., located in the University Research Park, as well as São Paulo, Brazil and Waltham, Mass. with Imagitas, a Red Ventures company.
