The technology company was named one of the city’s fastest growing companies based on its dollar growth from 2008 to 2010.
FORT MILL, S.C. — For technology company Red Ventures, calling 2011 was a ‘busy year’ doesn’t quite do it justice. In the past 12 months, the Fort Mill-based company moved into to its new 90,000 square foot headquarters, expanded its operations to San Antonio, TX and added 400+ employees. The Charlotte Business Journal recognized the company’s growth at the 2011 Fast 50 Awards, where Red Ventures took the No. 3 spot for overall dollar growth for the past three years. Red Ventures also took the No. 13 spot for average revenue growth for the same time period.
Red Ventures’ unique business model played a major role in its success during a time when many companies have struggled. Through a combination of strategic marketing and sales, Red Ventures optimizes the entire customer lifecycle for some of the nation’s largest brands from initial interest in the marketplace to the end transaction. They’re also only paid for the value they create.
‘In a down economy new customer acquisition is even more important for most businesses and this has created opportunities for Red Ventures to add new business partners as well as expand its relationships with existing business partners,’said CFO Mark Brodsky.
Beyond dollar growth, Red Ventures also made significant strides in growing its employee base going from 362 employees in 2008 to more than 1,200 today. The company outgrew three buildings in that time period, which led to the move into its new Fort Mill headquarters. The state-of-the-art space features amenities including: a regulation-sized indoor basketball court, running track, putting green, a gym, yoga studio and locker rooms. The building also includes a Café, which features gourmet food at subsidized prices nothing costs more than $4. Red Ventures is anticipating double-digit growth in 2012.
The Charlotte Business Journal also recently named Red Ventures Charlotte’s Best Place to Work. It marked the second consecutive year the company took the top spot. The award is based solely on anonymous employee feedback. Job seekers can learn more about Red Ventures and find a full list of current career opportunities at www.redventures.com.
