The company will provide support for Charlotte’s Teach For America corps members and alumni

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Today, Red Ventures announced its partnership with the Charlotte region of Teach For America, the national nonprofit that recruits, trains, and supports top college graduates and professionals who commit to teach for two years in under-resourced schools and become lifelong leaders in the pursuit of educational equity. Red Ventures is known for its expertise in marketing and technology innovation, and will bring that expertise to the classroom to benefit Teach For America teachers, also known as corps members, and their students. “Teach For America corps members and alumni have a positive impact in Charlotte,” said Red Ventures CEO Ric Elias. “They are committed to being true leaders in this community, and we’re thrilled to have the opportunity to help them reach more students and make an even bigger impact. With Teach For America, we’ve found an organization that has the same passion for their work that we do.”

Red Ventures will work closely with Teach For America corps members, both inside and outside of the classroom. Red Ventures employees will serve as guest lecturers in the classroom on topics ranging from “how to build a website” to “online marketing,” help new corps members acclimate to the Charlotte area, and provide career advice for Teach For America alumni who are looking for opportunities in different areas of the business community.

“We are incredibly grateful for Red Ventures’ commitment to Teach For America,” said Tim Hurley, executive director of Teach For America’s Charlotte region. “With this new partnership, we will be able to support more of our corps members and alumni as they work alongside other educators to ensure that all children in Charlotte have access to an excellent education.”
