Elizabeth Persson was recognized for her success in the business community
CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Known for her innovation, leadership and entrepreneurship, Elizabeth Hunter Persson is a recipient of the 15th annual Women in Business Achievement Awards, presented by the Charlotte Business Journal. Persson’s award marks the third consecutive year a Red Ventures employee has made the list. A Senior Vice President of Human Capital for the direct marketing and sales company, Persson was honored for her achievements during a June 16 awards ceremony at the Charlotte Convention Center.
“All of us at Red Ventures work with such vigor and passion; it was very moving to stop for a brief moment and take stock of what my team and I have accomplished over the past year and the meaning that has had for the company,” Persson said. “It’s the incredible group of people on this campus that enable every other attribute of this company that make these kind of results possible.”
A former Vice President at Bank of America, Persson began her Red Ventures career in 2005 managing an e-commerce business and, within a matter of months, lifted the average revenue per customer by nearly 1,400 percent. Through 2010, she went on to drive sales with many Red Venture partners, culminating in her most recent role leading one of the company’s newer partnerships where she was an integral part of the 64 percent growth Red Ventures experienced that year.
Another testament to the broad impact Persson has made at Red Ventures, she was recently promoted into her new role as Senior Vice President of Human Capital. Persson has a proven track record for success and has been promoted eight times over her six years at Red Ventures. As 2011 progresses, she continues to serve as a role model at Red Ventures and in her community.
